Cyber Intelligence Analyst

Remote is seeking a Cyber Intelligence Analyst to join the team in ASD. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years experience working in an intelligence or cyber threat analysis environment, demonstrable experience leading and performing Cyber Security risk and/or threat based assessments. strong research and analytical skills and strong reporting and presentation skills.

Role Information

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Support the proactive identification, assessment and analysis of systems and their dependencies

• Conduct and lead risk based assessments and reporting activities in accordance with internal frameworks

• Contribute to ongoing the development of operational processes, frameworks and practices as it relates to risk based assessments

• Work within a multidisciplinary team, to identify new methods to achieve the teams objectives (with an emphasis on identity and maximising the value of available data)

Job Skills and Qualifications

Essential

• At least 5 years experience working in an intelligence or cyber threat analysis environment

• Demonstrable experience leading and performing Cyber Security risk and/or threat based assessments

• Strong research and analytical skills

• Strong reporting and presentation skills

Desirable

• Experience working in an operational cyber security environment (such as performing Security Operations or Incident Response)

• Ability to develop technical solutions to support the automation of analytical activities (ie through scripting)

• Experience leading a team in an operational environment

• Understanding of Cyber Security concepts and industry practices (IT and OT)
