Lead Data Scientist

Description

Remote is seeking a Data Scientist to support a key cyber security initiative in ASD. The successful candidate will provide SME advice to stakeholders in order to maximise the value of data sets, and develop innovated ways to improve analytical processes, tools and techniques. The successful candidate will also develop and implement technical solutions to help identify new trends or insights within data and support data acquisition, engineering, modelling and automation activities.

Role Information

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Provide SME advice to stakeholders in order to maximise the value of data sets, and develop innovated ways to improve analytical processes, tools and techniques

• Develop and Implement technical solutions to help identify new trends or insights within data

• Support data acquisition, engineering, modelling and automation activities

Essential criteria:

1. At least 5 years' experience working in roles relating to data science, data engineering and /or data analysis

2. Demonstrable experience using graph databases to support analytical outcomes

3. Experience developing processes and solutions to analyse and correlate disparate / remote data sets

4. Experience with automation and scripting the collection, enrichment, analysis and presentation of data to address requirements
